BS&A Software Appoints Rajitha Chaparala as Chief Product Officer

Experienced product and AI leader joins BS&A to accelerate innovation and help local governments leverage technology to better serve their communities

BATH, MI, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — BS&A Software, a leading provider of financial management and enterprise software solutions for local governments, today announced the appointment of Rajitha Chaparala as Chief Product Officer.

Chaparala brings more than 20 years of experience building and leading product organizations across data, analytics, AI, SaaS, construction technology, financial services, energy, and insurance. Throughout her career, she has focused on understanding how people work, identifying opportunities to simplify complex processes, and turning emerging technologies into practical solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.

As Chief Product Officer, Chaparala will lead BS&A’s product strategy, shaping how the company sustains its growth trajectory and, most importantly, how it continues building products its clients genuinely love.

Before joining BS&A, Chaparala served as Vice President of Product, Data & AI at Procore, where she led efforts to drive AI adoption in a famously cautious, highly regulated industry by focusing on practical applications where the value was clear, including processing unstructured data, reducing friction in core workflows, and putting the technology directly in customers’ hands.

Prior to that, as Head of Data Product Management at ZoomInfo, she helped integrate the EverString and Clickagy acquisitions into the company’s data platform while expanding its capabilities across four products and international markets. Earlier at Intralinks, she founded and led an AI Center of Excellence, applying natural language processing and machine learning to automate document identification and information extraction for complex financial workflows. Across these roles, she built and scaled high-performing product, analytics, and data organizations, including growing teams from three to 17 at ZoomInfo and from nine to 50 at Procore.

Chaparala holds an MBA in Technology Management from Washington State University and completed executive education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
