Makos, a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker and attorney, originally joined Buyers Brokers Only in 2018 and spent nearly five years representing homebuyers throughout Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. He left the company in 2023 and later co-founded a real estate team that closed 62 transactions totaling more than $30 million in sales volume in 2024.

Makos’ return to Buyers Brokers Only marks a return to a business model focused exclusively on representing homebuyers. Unlike traditional real estate brokerages that represent both buyers and sellers, Buyers Brokers Only does not represent sellers.

Makos’ approach to buyer representation emphasizes evaluating properties and comparable sales, assessing value, structuring competitive offers, negotiating terms, identifying potential concerns, and helping buyers remain disciplined when making significant financial decisions.

Makos earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in political science, from Northeastern University. He was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2014 and is a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker.
