Morse Micro, the global technology leader in Wi-Fi HaLow, today announced it has joined the EDGE AI FOUNDATION as a Strategic Partner. The partnership connects Morse Micro’s award-winning Wi-Fi HaLow technology with the foundation’s global community of Edge AI developers, industry leaders, and researchers.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly moving from the cloud to devices, enabling cameras, sensors, and machinery to analyze data and make decisions locally rather than sending raw data to a server. As this shift accelerates, connectivity is one of the biggest barriers to widespread Edge AI adoption.

Wi-Fi HaLow provides the connectivity layer for this shift, combining kilometer-scale range and enterprise-grade WPA3 security with the bandwidth to support Edge AI at scale, all at power levels low enough for battery-operated devices.

“Edge AI is transforming what’s possible at the device level, but intelligence is only as useful as the connectivity supporting it,” said Michael De Nil, co-founder and CEO of Morse Micro. “Wi-Fi HaLow keeps intelligent devices connected over greater distances at lower power than conventional Wi-Fi. We’re delighted to join the EDGE AI FOUNDATION and work with the community to accelerate real-world adoption of wireless Edge AI.”

“Bringing intelligence to the edge requires more than advances in AI—it requires the connectivity to make those intelligent devices practical at scale,” said Pete Bernard, Executive Director of the EDGE AI FOUNDATION. “Morse Micro brings an important piece of that ecosystem with Wi-Fi HaLow, particularly for applications where range, power efficiency, and reliable connectivity are critical. We’re excited to welcome them as a Strategic Partner and to have their expertise contributing to our global community.”

As a Strategic Partner, Morse Micro will work alongside the foundation’s community to advance Edge AI adoption across smart infrastructure, industrial automation, agriculture, and security, where devices are often spread across large sites without an existing network backbone.

About Morse Micro

Morse Micro is the global technology leader in Wi-Fi HaLow, advancing IoT and Edge AI connectivity with award-winning technology. Headquartered in Sydney, with offices in the United States, Taiwan, China, India, Japan, and the United Kingdom, Morse Micro is driving the adoption of next-generation long-range, low-power Wi-Fi HaLow solutions. Its first-generation MM6108 and second-generation MM8108 Wi-Fi HaLow chips are designed to enable faster, longer range and lower power Edge AI connectivity.

Morse Micro’s Wi-Fi HaLow technology is gaining global momentum as it enables connected devices to achieve 10x the range and cover 100x the area of traditional Wi-Fi networks, while offering 1,000x the data rates of traditional LPWAN technologies. This advancement is applicable across a range of Edge AI and IoT applications, including smart homes, industrial automation, and smart cities.
