Targa Newfoundland today announced the full sponsor lineup powering the rally’s 25th anniversary livestream, the first in the event’s history, alongside a live showcase of the broadcast at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam. For the first time, North America’s only tarmac rally will stream live and free on YouTube, made possible by an ecosystem of ten presenting and technology sponsors led by official connectivity partner, Dejero.

“This broadcast doesn’t happen without the partners who believed we could pull it off,” said Robert Giannou, Founder of Targa Newfoundland. “Two thousand kilometres of the most remote roads in Newfoundland are about to be seen by the entire world, for the first time in 25 years.”

The 2026 broadcast is powered by a full ecosystem of sponsors, each contributing a piece of the connectivity, production, and distribution chain required to stream live from Newfoundland’s most isolated terrain:

Presenting Sponsors

  • Dejero: Blended connectivity

  • Eutelsat: Satellite provider

  • Intel and ADLINK Technology: Edge compute

Technology Sponsors

  • BLiNQ Networks: Private 5G fronthaul

  • GlobalM: Video distribution

  • Grabyo: Cloud production

  • Jetwerx: Live stream broadcast production

  • Matrox Video: Encoding and distribution

  • Network Innovations: Connectivity integrator

“No single technology could solve this alone,” said Kevin Fernandes, Chief Revenue Officer at Dejero. “It took an ecosystem of partners, each solving a different piece of the puzzle, to bring a live signal out of terrain that’s never carried one before.”

World-First Showcase at IBC 2026

The historic Targa Newfoundland livestream will also be demonstrated live at IBC 2026, one of the world’s largest broadcast technology trade shows, running September 11–14 at the RAI Amsterdam. Attendees will be able to watch the live production feeds directly from Newfoundland’s coastal roads on the show floor, a real-time demonstration of the sponsor ecosystem’s technology in the field. Watch: Randy Pobst on Why He Keeps Coming Back

Professional racing driver Randy Pobst “The Rocket”, a Targa Newfoundland and ten-time Pikes Peak competitor, is releasing a video message ahead of the race explaining what draws him back to the event year after year.

“I always thought I wanted more. Well, at Targa, I found more, three hundred miles of curves I’ve never seen before, hills I can’t see over,” said Pobst. “It’s a unique driving challenge, and it’s why I keep coming back.”
