Accelerated Mobile Power (AMP), a leading Power as a Service (PaaS) provider supplying contract power generation services for commercial and industrial applications, announced on Tuesday the addition of 76 Dynamis DT17 units to its fleet of leasing solutions following sister-company Dynamis Power Solutions’ (Dynamis) recently announced order with Baker Hughes for 76 NovaLT™16 gas turbines paired with gearboxes and generators powered by BRUSH™ Power Generation – totaling ~1.3GW for hypermobile power generation across a wide range of data center projects and oil & gas applications.

Through the companies’ vertical integration, AMP utilizes Dynamis’ propriety turbine packages with low emissions without the use of water to provide contract power generation. Dynamis packages gas turbine generators in its proprietary hypermobile power solutions, using Baker Hughes’ multi-fuel NovaLT™16 gas turbines, gearboxes, and generators powered by BRUSH™ Power Generation with Automatic Voltage Regulator System (AVR) in their DT17 units. The units’ modular-trailered design, compact footprint, and fast start provide the flexibility and scalability necessary to customize projects to specific power requirements for each application. Leasing the DT17 through AMP unlocks additional turnkey power generation that include operations, service, and maintenance.

“We’re continuing to see high-level demand for turnkey operations with expanded scope and simplified execution, driven by the growing need for reliable, flexible, and rapidly deployable power – and AMP is uniquely positioned to meet this demand,” said Matt Crawford, CEO of Dynamis Power Solutions and Accelerated Mobile Power. “Through AMP’s leasing of Dynamis’ DT17 platform – which combines Baker Hughes’ proven NovaLT™16 technology with our proprietary hypermobile packaging – we are delivering utility-grade power at industry-leading density that meets as low as 9 PPM NOx emissions without the need for additional resources, while significantly reducing construction timelines and civil costs.”

The DT17 package is based off Dynamis’ flagship DT35 hypermobile power package and is designed to bridge immediate power demands, supporting the unique and complex operational needs of industries requiring natural gas power solutions. This new application of Baker Hughes’ NovaLT™16 turbines boasts enhanced versatility for large power consumers in the data center and oil & gas industries, offering resilience in challenging environments and the ability to power reliably – benefits further emphasized by the unit’s compact mobile footprint and record-setting short rig-up, commissioning, and operational maintenance efficiencies.
