The Woman Who Built Hollywood’s Gifting Suites Is Betting Las Vegas Can Do Wellness

Heather Marianna brings Camp Manifest, her sold-out women’s retreat series, to Lake Las Vegas on Jan. 23–24, 2027

Camp Manifest, the women’s retreat series Marianna co-founded, arrives at The Westin Lake Las Vegas that weekend for its third edition and its first in Nevada, following a sold-out January 2026 debut at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu and a June 2026 retreat at Amara Resort & Spa in Sedona. The location is the provocation. Las Vegas draws 42.5 million visitors a year to a city synonymous with overconsumption — and is now quietly one of the fastest-growing wellness-travel markets in the country. Marianna is planting a women’s reset weekend twenty minutes and one world away from the Strip, on a lake most visitors don’t know exists.

“Everyone told me Vegas was the wrong city for this,” said Marianna. “That’s exactly why it’s the right one. The women coming to Camp Manifest are not fragile. They are exhausted. They don’t need to be sent to a mountaintop to be fixed — they need one weekend where nobody wants anything from them. You can build that anywhere. I’d rather build it where nobody expects it.”

Wellness tourism grew 13.8% year over year, among the fastest-rising of eleven sectors inside a record $6.8 trillion global wellness economy, which the Global Wellness Institute forecasts will reach $9.8 trillion by 2029. Women drive a disproportionate share of that spending, and the retreat category has fractured into two poles: $15,000 clinical longevity resorts on one end, and unregulated influencer trips on the other.

Camp Manifest is a deliberate bet on the middle: a two-day, $1992 weekend at a full-service resort, built for women with jobs, families and a finite number of days off.

“January is the most punishing month in the wellness industry,” Marianna said. “It’s built on the idea that you failed last year and need to be corrected. We’re not selling correction. You don’t need another resolution. You need a reset.”

Marianna is the founder of Beauty Kitchen, the skincare company she launched in 2012 and the producer behind “A Toast to Hollywood” and “Harvest,” the celebrity gifting lounges she stages during Oscars and Emmys weeks — rooms where every sightline, gift, and introduction is engineered.
That production discipline is what separates Camp Manifest from the retreat field, she said: the same obsessive staging, pointed at a different outcome.

“In Hollywood I was producing a room to make a brand memorable. Here I’m producing a room to make a woman feel like herself again. It is the same skill set. It is a completely different scoreboard.”

The Lake Las Vegas weekend is organized around Camp Manifest’s 2222 theme — Balance, Harmony, Trust — and is built at roughly [60/40] programming to open time, a ratio Marianna says is the single most requested change from past attendees.
